Common questions

Why is my note not syncing to my iPad / Apple Watch?

  • Confirm both devices are signed into the same iCloud account
  • Confirm iCloud Drive is on for Pinote (iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud)
  • Wait up to 30 seconds for the Live Activity push to arrive

How do I delete all my data? Open Pinote → Settings → “Delete All My Data”. This wipes notes from your device and your iCloud Private Database.

How do I disable ads? Pinote shows ads in Library and Settings only — never on your Lock Screen, Live Activity, Dynamic Island, widgets, or watchOS. A Pro tier (with ads removed) ships in a future update; Founding Users get it free for life.

Why does the Live Activity sometimes disappear after a long idle time? iOS Live Activities have system-imposed time limits (typically 8 hours of inactivity). Pinote re-pins automatically when you next open the app. If your Live Activity is stuck, force-quit and reopen Pinote.

Can I import notes from another app? Not in v1. Pinote is intentionally minimal — it stores plain text + checklists. You can paste manually.
